These 0.75oz pouches are filled with our dry, organic-certified, Vermont-grown, lion’s mane! This is equivalent to about a half-pound of fresh mushrooms. Lion’s mane has a seafood-like texture and is a great meat substitute, addition to any savory dish, or as a base for a brain-boosting tea/broth/tincture. These are already torn up into the perfect size nuggets!
How to use
Rehydrate: Rinse mushrooms, then place them in a bowl. If short on time, cover with hot water/broth for 30-45 minutes. For deeper flavor, cover with cool water and soak in the fridge overnight.
Strain and Cook: Strain and save soaking water for a savory addition to broths or sauces. Squeeze excess water out of mushrooms. Cook just like fresh mushrooms!
